Hello Dim Sum you are my favorite brunch ever. There is no dim sum place in my current Alaskan hometown unless you count a little Chinese/Korean restaurant Charlie's Bakery that has a small selection of the dumplings available on the menu.
But it's not nearly as exciting as finding one of the places that push around the carts of steaming buns, dumplings, vegetables and feet. That's why every time when I visit my family in NC I always beg them to drive the two hours to Charlotte so we can have some at the Dim Sum Chinese Restaurant. While it's not the worlds most amazing Dim Sum, I do love it because it's the one that I have access to and I get to visit most often. I get so excited when the waiter pushes up the little cart and I never know if it's going to be a favorite delectable or some questionable meat blob that would probably taste good if I could muster the courage to select it.

On this last trip to NC my last weekend there I was sneaky and made my flight in the late afternoon going out of Charlotte instead of the Greensboro airport. That meant we'd have time for dim sum brunch before my flight. Woohoo... My dad and I always order one of the main menu items as well usually one of any of the following: Seafood Crispy Noodles, Clams With Black Bean Sauce, Lobster or Crab With Ginger and Scallions. This time we went with the crab. Upon asking for the crab, the waitress tries to confirm by saying "clab or clams" we say "crab" she asks again "clab or clams" we say "crab" she flips over the paper menu and writes the question again for clarification, the second photo below is the back of the menu.
