If you want to impress a girl (or at least this girl) and maybe keep her around, learning how to make breakfast is a good start (I'm not a morning person, it's my least favorite meal to make).   Because more than anything most girls really love feeling like they are worth an effort.  The breakfast can be complicated and time consuming or simple and quick, either way the message is made that you care enough to take the time to make something without expecting anything in return.  A good quote in reference to this from Madame de Staël: “The desire of the man is for the woman, but the desire of the woman is for the desire of the man.”

Toad in a hole, egg in a basket.. whatever.. essentially bread (yes, I'm still eating the poppy seed coated bread) with a hole cut out in the middle and an egg dropped in that space, fried then a dash of spices like salt and pepper or (my secret ingredient  a dash of Biscane Spice Rub).  The Biscane Spice Rub comes from World Spice Market in Seattle just below Pikes Street market towards the water **Note it is not the the one in the market, which is also good.. but this one is better** maybe that's because it's an adorable quite place full of good smells and friendly staff. and takes you a step or so away from the shoulder to shoulder hubbub of the market above.  I hearts World Spice Market big time.. Back to the meal.. it's a simple, quick and delicious way to wake your companion up and it only takes a little effort, but you'll get big points for effort unless their vegan or hate eggs.
