going vampire?

I will eat almost anything well maybe anything that isn't wiggling still (but I won't judge the people who do).  I have to admit though I wasn't always like this, I the omnivore was at one time a self proclaimed herbivore.  Yes, I went through a ten year stint with varying degrees of vegetarianism from pescetarian to straight up vegan.  I enjoyed it and I think that letting your body take a break from meat consumption is a smart thing to do every once in a while as meat is harder to digest and giving your body a break every once in a while is a good thing it's like a digestive vacation.
The reason why I stopped my vegetarian phase of my life is that I have a serious hate of being limited, I hate limiting myself in my experiences this is especially true with food.  While I can't say that I've loved all of these experiences I have found them interesting and I walk away with new recipes or inspiration for new recipes or at least with the knowledge of a new food that I find unpalatable and will be sure to avoid it in the future.

All that being said blood it's surprisingly not that bad.  Maybe not something I crave unless I'm feeling a little anemic.  With the curry noodle dish it was a slightly metallic bit of umami (I still don't know if I count this as a real word but it roughly translates to the taste of protein or MSG) to an otherwise spicy curry noodle dish.  So if you're ever offered a dish with a bit of blood or are feeling like being adventurous or a least a little anemic I say go for it.. if you're a little squeamish.. just don't think about it.
