spread this..

Delta airlines has the market with my favorite sweet treats handed out by an airline.  Biscoff cookies.. oh how I love the Biscoff cookies.. When I was younger and didn't know that they sold them in the store I would arrange to fly crazy flights just to get a cookie.. What can I say?  I'm very food driven.

I went into World Market for a licorice candy because they have the best selection and now that I'm grown up I seem to like what I used to deem weird things adults ate, I sometimes even crave them (that is everything but okra, which is still gross).  I grabbed my licorice snack and got sucked into looking around for a moment by the obscure items World Market caries.  I can't say anything about them as a store ethically but I can say they have a crap ton of randomness from all over the globe.. hence the name World Market..  That's when I came across pure craziness.. someone decided to take my beloved Biscoff cookies and turn them into some type of decadent oh yeah we did go there.. spread.. Really.. I have had caramel spreads, mustard, cheese, chocolate, a whole bunch of other spreadable items... But cookies?.. Cookies are a solid item.  But some crazy person decided that was not going to be only way that the beautiful Biscoff cookie existed.  It's interesting.. it tastes like the cookie.. maybe I would love it more if I had no teeth, really wanted a cookie and didn't want to have to face the indignity of gumming my cookie till it dissolved.  While it does the flavor of the cookie justice, it has less caloric impact than peanut butter, and it tastes very good on toast.. it doesn't have the same I crave this quality that the solid cookie counterpart has for me but that's because I like the crunch of the cookie.  So if you're feeling adventurous and want a non-chocolate breakfast spread.. hit up the nearest World Market and try the Biscoff spread...

they haven't changed the package since the 70's, keeping it classic
