noses, lips, assholes and other things

Hot dogs!! What else could I be talking about? While I know that hot dogs (I learned recently from the back of the Sriracha bottle it's perro calientes in Spanish but I've also heard salchicha works too) aren't actually made of the aforementioned animal parts it is a funny myth to perpetuate.

Anyway, it's Independence Day for the USA.  Yay!! Hot dogs are a quintessential Independence Day food and while I prefer sausages like kielbasas or ribs and hamburgers for my Independence Day meat goodies I would eat hot dog salad like no tomorrow.. well, maybe not the hot dog part unless someone sneakily hid a piece of hot dog under perfectly innocent looking salad bite and offered to me by being brought to my lips by chopsticks which were held by a very trusted Thai friend Tony the proud creator of this umm.... salad?   He is a pretty brilliant boy in the kitchen even though I can no longer trust the bites he offers up.
