Sandwich bliss... I found sandwich bliss at the Baguette Box just a little south of Capital Hill.. maybe it's in Capital Hill I'm not very good at the specifics of where geographical lines start and stop either way it's right off Pike street just past the bridge if you're going up the hill.
The Baguette Box can be described as a Vietnamese inspired sandwich shop with a lot of dog pictures for decor.. But, unlike the normal ban mi that is made up of pate, sliced ham, head cheese, twice cooked pork, soy sauce, cilantro, pickled carrots and radishes, etc.. There you get all the veggies plus fancy lettuce and they mix it up with a variety of meats like fried chicken, shredded pork and my personal favorite steak marinated in lemongrass... oh the mouth watering goodness.. I had to order two, one for right then and one for the flight the next day... I did not regret the extra item in my carry on, especially with how unpalatable in flight food is for how much it costs.
