taste the crunchy

During the early-ish hours for unemployed me (10am) I was hanging out with some friends when I heard my friend Mo eating his breakfast.  This is approximately the ensuing conversation
Me "um what kind of sandwich are you eating?" Mo "cereal sandwich."  Me "why?"  Mo "one day I was very hungry for breakfast and I had some bread and I saw some cereal."... Hence the birth of the cereal sandwich... Never trust a Thai person making a sandwich.. I have many reasons for this belief.  One time my friend Natt was getting some Hot Licks coconut ice cream (Hot Licks is a delicious Alaskan made ice cream with a million different combinations)  out of the freezer and he asked if I wanted some of course I do when do I not want ice cream... and then all of a sudden instead of a yummy bowl of delicious coconut ice cream I got a scoop of ice cream with a scoop of coconut rice smooshed between white bread... it was not an ice cream sandwich..  Not that I can judge I have been known to be a potato chip in a sandwich kind of person.. it's mostly just the bread choice.. I've typically seen them eat the wonder bread style white or "white wheat" when consuming these "sandwiches".. I loath the freakish squishy wonder bread.. it's some kind of crime against nature...

cereal that doesn't get soggy

Follow these simple directions to make Mo's cereal sandwich:

Ingredients:
Your favorite cereal
White wheat bread of some type
Honey - because obviously the cereal isn't sweet enough

 Directions:
Take two slices of the white wheat a drizzle of honey on each slice then pile on cereal of choice... eat..

Side Note:  Mo is actually a nutritional student.. who has taken a lot of cooking and nutrition classes.. and who cooks amazingly tasty and beautiful dishes.. I put cereal sandwich on the hungry need something quick this is what's available side of his eating habits.. along the lines of eating a spoon full of instant coffee and drinking it down with water (not my story some grad student in the wilds of Alaska was doing that one)..
